Newborn diapers!!!! I can't get enough of the soft, fluffy, tiny goodness of them all! One diaper in particular I have been really wanting to try was the Kissaluvs newborn all in one (AIO) diaper!
All things Diapers graciously sent me one (in chocolate) to review. This is what I received:
This diaper is an all in one (AIO) which means no stuffing, or folding, simply wash and dry!
It is one of the most easy to use cloth diapers on the market! This particular diaper is designed to fit babies from 5-15 lbs and retails for $14.95!

Notice the snap down front to protect baby's umbilical cord from rubbing on the diaper!
Here are some pictures of this diaper:

The inside of the diaper is made of a soft stay dry fleece!
Here is some additional information on this tiny diaper (taken from Kissaluv's Website):
"Soft, Absorbent and Super easy to use. Leak-free PUL and snap-down umbilical protection means you can focus on what's important- cuddling up with your new bundle of joy- instead of worrying about blowouts and rashes!

#NBFluffNStuff Fuzzi Bunz perfect size diaper review and $20 GC #GIVEAWAY {Figgy Fuzz Baby Boutique} US only

By now I'm sure you know how much I love Fuzzi Bunz diapers!! Well, in all honesty, I prefer the old style one size diapers compared to the new elites, but that is a different story. Today I'm talking about the Fuzzi Bunz perfect size diapers rather than the one size!
I was so excited when Tiffany over at Figgy Fuzz Baby Boutique agreed to send a size small for my review.
This is what I received:

The Fuzzi Bunz perfect size diaper size small is made to fit a 7-18 lb baby from 0-8 months of age!

It comes with one small microfiber insert:

This is a sized pocket diaper, with a generous sized opening in the back for easy stuffing!
The inside of the diaper is made of a soft fleece material:

A few things I really like about this diaper. I really like the fact that it is sized, so you don't have to adjust a thing! There is no tightening the elastic on the legs (as with a one sized fuzzi bunz) to accommodate a brand new baby! I like the fact that it is a pocket diaper! You can stuff this diaper with any kind of insert you'd like (hemp, bamboo, fleece, you name it) in order to customize the amount of absorption!

This diaper fit my little one perfectly!

No gaps around the legs :)

This is one of my new favorite diapers for a newborn! It is easy to use, stuff, and wash! It is very trim and fits great! It comes in 4 different sizes as well. There is an extra small, small, medium and large! This is the only size small fuzzi bunz currently in my stash and I find myself reaching for it more and more!!

You can purchase this diaper directly from Figgy Fuzz Baby Boutique for only $14.95! The extra smalls are only $13.95!
Have you been wanting to try one of these diapers? Or perhaps something else offered at Figgy Fuzz Baby Boutique!?
You're in luck! As a sponsor for the "Newborn Essentials Fluff 'N Stuff" Event, Figgy Fuzz Baby Boutique is giving away one $20 GC to one lucky LWML reader!

#NBFluffNStuff Rumparooz clothdiaper review and 30% off store-wide savings!!

Getting to try all different kinds of diapers on baby girl has been such a fun experience. I found Cloth Baby LLC while browsing the net for cloth diapers sales and deals. I was excited when Cloth Baby LLC agreed to send me a red in color Rumparooz G2 one size pocket diaper to try!!
This is what I received:

Inside of the diaper with double leg gussets (to help prevent blowouts)!

Generously sized pocket opening! Big enough for daddy's hand!
 Diaper on the smallest setting:
 Medium sized:
 Largest setting:

This diaper fits baby girl very well (now that she is a little bit older). When she was just a tiny newborn (weighing right around 7 lbs) I found this diaper to not fit that great. I preferred the Lil Joey newborn diapers on her then. Since she's a bit older now (just about 6 weeks) and weighs a bit more (closer to 8.5 lbs) I think this diaper is growing on me.
I would not say this diaper was made to fit a tiny newborn (remember, she was only 6.8 lbs at birth) but I would agree that this diaper fits bigger newborn babies (8 lbs +) well!

Here is some more information on this diaper (taken from Kanga Care's website):

One Size = More Savings!
The Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper is 4 diapers sizes in ONE diaper.
Everything you will need from birth (6 lbs) to potty training (35+ lbs) in one set of diapers. This means that the same diapers you buy for your baby to wear home from the hospital are the same diapers you child will potty train out of. No need to buy a set of 24 diapers each time your baby needs the next size up.

The Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper will save you around $300.00+ over sized cloth diapers.
• Newborn setting starts at 6 lbs
• Small setting starts at 10 lbs
• Medium setting starts at 15 lbs
• Large setting (fully un-snapped) starts around 20 lbs and will fit up to 35-40 lbs.
• Patented!
Each diaper comes with a free microfiber "Rumparooz 6•r Soaker". This unique and super thirsty insert will grow with the diaper and has 6 different size and absorbency settings to customize for your babies need. The 6•r Soaker also has custom settings for the different areas that girls and boys need absorption most. Available in both Snap or Aplix® closure.
Rump•a•rooz® Biodegradability: Kanga Care diapers and accessories are also biodegradable! In 2008 Kanga Care started using a biodegradable TPU waterproof material. Biodegradable TPU is solvent-free. Biodegradable TPU is a polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process, not chemicals. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment then traditional PUL. Both the TPU laminate and the polyester fabric the laminate is applied to are biodegradable. When composted they will biodegrade in 4-5 years.
Use, Wash & Care: TO USE:
•Before first use, wash diapers once.
• Snap diaper rise to proper size setting.
• Select the proper 6•r soaker for size of diaper and insert through pocket opening, placing soaker inside the diaper.
• Fasten diaper to baby! Wash & Care: Wash diapers together on Cold Wash/Cold Rinse, fast cycle, no detergent, spin dry (quick pre-wash). After pre-wash; wash on Hot Wash/Cold Rinse with 1/4 regularly suggested amount of detergent*. Tumble dry low or hang dry (diapers dry FAST!)
*Detergent: Do not use detergents that are "Free & Clear" or contain fabric softeners. Fragrances may cause irritation, discontinue detergent brand if irritation occurs. Do not use bleach. Do not use fabric softeners or drier sheets. Do not soak for long periods of time. Do not soak diapers in detergent or any laundry additives for removing stains, odor or buildup. If staining, odor or buildup occurs, make sure you are using a detergent that contains enzymes. Please visit our care page for more detailed care information and a list of recommended laundry detergents.

I really like this diaper. I love that it has the inner leg gussets which really contains newborn poo well! I love that you can customize the soaker simply by snapping it in various places to get customized absorption for your boy or girl!
These diapers retail for $23.50 and you can buy them directly from Cloth Baby LLC's website!

Sadly, Cloth Baby LLC is going out of business. You can use the code I0JNV4UQXS to get 30% off your entire order from now until the end of May!!

#NBFluffNStuff Newborn Grovia AIO clothdiaper review and #GIVEAWAY {Up on the Hill} US only

Up on the Hill has everything you need to get your little one's bum covered in some really cute fluff! They carry a few brands of cloth diapers that even a seasoned vet like me has not even heard of... which is great because I'm always on the look out for new cloth!

I was sent a newborn Grovia all in one (AIO) diaper in bicycles print to try on my little one!
This is what I received:
The newborn Grovia AIO is an all in one diaper (no pocket for stuffing), the soaker is simply sewn into the inside of the diaper:
It is a newborn diaper, so it was made specifically to fit babies from 5-12 lbs!
Here is a little more information on this diaper (taken from Up On the Hill's website):
"•Inner: Sewn in Soaker Pad 55% Hemp, 45% Cotton topped with 100% Polyester Microfleece
•Body Lining: 100% Polyester Microfleece
•Outer: 100% Water Resistant Polyester TPU
• No Cover Needed
• Made fairly & conscientiously in China
•Our unique design fits most newborns 5-12+ lbs.
• Diaper Preparation (This is an important step... don't skip it!!) Wash hot with detergent and tumble dry, repeating this process 5–6 times before first use (they will continue to gain absorbency with more washing) Washing Remove as much solid matter as possible. Place soiled diaper in a dry diaper pail. No soaking necessary. Wash every 2 days on warm with detergent. Tumble dry low. Do NOT use bleach, enzyme cleaners or fabric softeners."

I had heard of mixed reviews when it came to this diaper. Many mama's stated that they leaked! I have had no issues with this diaper (leaking or fit)! I think the reason other's were stating they were experiencing leaks was possibly because the user did not fully prep this diaper before use! The soaker pad is made of hemp, which is a natural fiber (very absorbent) and requires 'prepping' before use! This diaper needs to be washed on hot and tumble dried (med heat) 5-6 times before it reaches its full absorbency!!
If you only wash and dry it once before use, it will probably leak!!
This is the diaper on it's smallest setting:
This is a great fitting diaper. When my daughter was born, she only weighed 6.8 lbs (smallest of all 3 of my babies)!
As you can see, this diaper is perfect for a long and lean little one! This print is very gender neutral as well. Since we waited until birth to find out the gender of our baby, most of the items I received for review were GN in color! I love the bicycles print though, it's very cute. Especially for an active family like ours!

You can purchase this diaper directly from Up On the Hill for $14.95! Or you can enter to win one here!

As a sponsor for this event, Amii, of Up On the Hill is giving one of you a newborn Grovia AIO in winner's choice of color/print (subject to what's in stock)!

#NBFluffNStuff {Essential Wet Bag} Monkey Foot Designs wet bag review and #GIVEAWAY {US only}

If you cloth diaper, then a good quality wet bag is definitely a MUST!
When I first started out cloth diapering, I bought a few inexpensive wet bags, each would hold about 4-6 soiled diapers. I quickly found out that these wet bags were not big enough, and the PUL on the inside started coming apart after about 4 months!

This time around, since cloth diapering a newborn, I quickly realized that a wet bag that holds only 4-6 cloth diapers would just not cut it, since a newborn baby can give you about 12 dirty diapers in one 24 hour period!

So, my search began! Not only did I want a wet bag that was functional (would hold in a days worth of dirty diapers that come from a newborn on average about 12) but also one that will hold in the smells that can sometimes escape the little wet bags! Oh, and did I mention also that it's nice to have a wet bag that is cute??

I was thrilled when Kris of Monkey Foot Designs agreed to send me a size large wet bag (14" x 16") in "pink sparrows."

This is what I received:
LOVE this print (it's so girly)!!

This wet bag is awesome! Not only do I LOVE the print! I love that there is a snap handle, which allows for easy hanging near the changing table or on the door knob!

Also, another great product that is MADE in the USA!!!

You can purchase this wet bag directly from Monkey Foot Designs shop, or you can find a local retailer here!! The large retails for only $25.00! Kris also makes other sizes. The next item on my 'to buy' list is one of her kitchen/stroller wet bags:
How awesome is that? It hooks to your stove handle and is there for wet/dirty rags or un-paper towels to store until wash day! I love this bright cheery print! These retail for $28!

As a sponsor for this event, Kris, of Monkey Foot Designs is giving one of you a size medium wet bag!! Winner's choice of print, from what's in stock!

#NBFluffNStuff Pink Lemonade reusable mama cloth and nursing pads Review and $20 GC #GIVEAWAY {World-Wide}

Ahhh post partum! There are so many awesome things about having a baby... the journey, the birth, the bonding, nursing... but I am not a huge fan of post-partum bleeding! I love mama cloth and though I never used it after either birth of my two boys I decided I'd use it this time around!
I was asking many of you (the readers of this blog) what brand of mama cloth was your favorite and many of you mentioned "Pink Lemonade." I'd never heard of Pink Lemonade before and so I decided to research PL and found it easily on Etsy!
I was so impressed by the beautiful fabrics that were used to make these pads that I reached out to Sue, owner and creator of these beautiful pads and she so graciously sent me two post partum pads for my review.
This is what I received:

My initial thought when I received these pads was how incredibly soft they are! The minky fabric really makes a difference! I'm familiar with the Charlie Banana and Fuzzi Bunz reusable cloth pads, but those are not even near comparison to these on the softness and comfort level!

Here is a little more information on these beautifully soft minky pads (taken from the Pink Lemonade Etsy listing):
"Deliciously soft Minky is used on these 2 13" Post Partum Pads. I lined the backs with Water Resistant Windpro Fleece.

My pads and liners have tab style wings and are fastened with a quality poly-resin snap. The core is made from absorbent Bamboo Fleece.

13" Post Partum Pads are 3" wide through the center and flair out at the edges for additional side to side coverage. They are suitable for Overnight to Post Partum Flow."

These pads work great! I have had some regular bleeding and these pads are awesome! No leaks, no issues at all! I only wish I would have bought more! In fact, Sue has a whole section for post partum mama cloth in her Etsy shop!

Once I have used a pad, I place them in a sealed wet bag (which is another product that Sue is planning to add to her shop) until wash day. Then (I usually only let 1 day go between washing mama cloth for sanitary reasons) I dump all the pads in the washer and do a cold rinse. After the cold rinse, I fill the washer up with cold water and let them soak for an hour or so! Then I drain the water, do a hot wash (filling up the washing machine and adding some Femme Rock by Rockin Green and let it soak for about 30 minutes)! Then I do a cold rinse.
I have not had any trouble with any kind of staining or smell issues or anything with these pads!
They are beautiful still after being used over and over again!

You can purchase these beautiful post partum cloth pads directly from Sue's Etsy shop. One post partum pad retails for $13.25, or a set of 2 for $26.50 or a 3-pack for $39.75!!

You will also find other sizes at Pink Lemonade! To include mini liners, panti liners and 7.5-11 inch cloth pads! She really has a wide variety of cloth pads to offer!

While working on this review, I was contacted by Sue and she asked me if I'd would test her new reusable nursing pads.... to which I jumped at the chance. If her nursing pads were as affordable, beautiful and comfortable as her reusable feminine pads I knew I'd love them....
This is what I received:
I want to mention right off the bat that these beautiful pads are made of a Bamboo Velour and are hand dyed by Sue herself!
Tell me they are not beautiful!!
The pink pair are made of bamboo velour and have a PUL back and the blue pair have a wool backing. Both contain bamboo fleece throughout the centers to create absorbency!
I LOVE these nursing pads! They are beautiful and they are so COMFORTABLE!! I have a few pairs of Bamboobies and I find myself reaching for one of these over the Bamboobies!!

I am delighted to tell you that today 26 May Sue opened her brand new shop online!! Congrats Sue!!
There you will find her wide assortment of reusable mama cloth, and nursing pads. The wool backed nursing pads retail for $9.00 a pair and the PUL backed nursing pads retail for $8.00 a pair! These are very affordable and I promise you that you won't be disappointed!!

As a sponsor for this event, Sue, from Pink Lemonade has generously offered one of you the chance to win a $20 GC towards the purchase of anything in her brand new online shop or her Etsy shop!

This giveaway is open World-Wide!! To enter, simply fill out the Rafflecopter form below! You may have to click "read more" in order for the whole Rafflecopter form to load!

Good luck and Have fun!
