Newborn diapers! I am in love! They are so soft, squishy and so tiny!! What's not to love! We all know you can't judge a book by it's cover and just because a newborn diaper looks totally cute and adorable does not guarantee it will get the job done. Newborns need to be changed more frequently than older babies, and I wanted to make sure I had enough diapers for this baby to get us through! I was excited to come across HipKiddo Cloth Diapers and was even more pleased when HipKiddo decided to send me not one, but two of their WeeBaby Hip diapers which were created for preemies and newborns!!

These diapers are an all in one (AIO) diaper and are made to fit baby from 4-14 lbs!

I love that this diaper has the snap down feature to protect baby's umbilical cord!!

These diapers are very well made, super easy to use and very easy to clean!
I would highly recommend these diapers to anyone looking to add a newborn diaper or two to their stash! Did I mention that these diapers retail for only $12 each!!
I found these diapers to fit my little girl great, however we did experience a few leaks and found out quickly that they don't absorb as much liquid as other newborn diapers!

This diaper comes with 2 stay-dry microterry inserts. The great thing about these diapers is that you can use them as a pocket diaper or an AI2!
When using as a pocket diaper, the side of the diaper with the red stitching and the tag faces up (underneath the pocket opening). When using it as an AI2, the red stitching faces down and the plain white side is the side that directly lies on baby's skin!

This diaper is great! I love the fit, I love the color and I love that it is versatile to be used as an AI2 or pocket (which is my favorite)!

I also really like that the opening to the pocket is wide enough so that you don't have to un-stuff it on wash day, but that the insert will agitate on it's own in the wash!

Apple Cheeks diapers come in 2 different sizes size 1 and 2. Size 1 will fit a baby 7-20 lbs and size 2 will fit a baby 18-40 lbs!

This diaper is a fitted diaper, therefore it is not waterproof and requires a cover. Though I have found that I can use it during the daytime on my LO without a cover and it works just great.
It comes with a double layer snap in soaker and one lay in soaker to give you more absorbency:

There are many newborn options to consider when cloth diapering a newborn. I personally LOVED one size diapers for my boys (when they were older) I really didn't know how they would fare on a brand new baby! So I contacted Jack be Natural regarding sponsoring this event!! This diaper was one of my favorites with my two boys (now 3 and 5)! I love that it's a one size (it's very cost efficient). I love that it's a pocket (you can customize the absorbency to suit your baby's needs)! I used to stuff these diapers with Thirsties hemp inserts for overnight and nap time with both my boys!
I love the generous pocket opening which makes it easy to really get this diaper stuffed!

I really thought this diaper was not going to fit very well on my itty bitty baby girl, but as you can see, I was wrong!!!

Bad news!! We are all (except baby girl) sick!!!
Sinus infection, body aches fever... the works!

The Thirsties AIO diaper in size 1 will fit a baby from 6-18 lbs, age 0-9 months!

This is an AIO diaper, so there is no need to stuff or unstuff, however the sleeve-like opening allows you to add an extra insert to create a more absorbent diaper:

When washing, simply attache the hook and loop to the laundry tabs located inside the diaper to prevent snagging during the wash:

I love this diaper! I love the fit, I love the print, I love (eek) yes, even the easy to use hook and loop closure! I'm a snaps gal, but in the short amount of time I've been cloth diapering this newbie, I've found that hook and loop closure diapers give a great fit, almost every single time!
