AMP Stay Dry AIO clothdiaper in SNAPS!! Review and #GIVEAWAY {US and Canada}

I'm so excited to have been given the opportunity to try the all new AMP Stay-Dry AIO diaper in SNAPS!! I really love, adore, cherish my AMP diapers! I've tried a few AMP diapers in the past. I've tried their hemp fitted diaper, their AI2 diaper on my tiny newborn nephew, and their ever so popular one size duo diaper!

I am not a fan (at all) of Velcro, aka hook and loop! I just do not like the way it washes and clings to every other diaper in the wash! I just LOVE my snaps! I was so excited to receive the e-mail from AMP announcing that they are now selling their AIO's in snaps!

Annie, creator and owner of AMP diapers graciously sent me a size large AMP Stay-Dry AIO in "chocolate." This is what I received:

I really love how the elastic is set on the waist (seen in picture above) it really makes a huge difference when putting this diaper on your child. The elastic is so pliable and really enables the perfect fit on your little one!

My first thoughts. When I first opened the package and saw this diaper a sudden craving for a tall, two pump mocha from Starbucks came over me! Then opened the diaper and could not believe how soft, fluffy and squishy it was! As you can see in pic #1 above this diaper looks very similar to the AMP one size duo. HOWEVER, this is not a one sized diaper and it is not a pocket! This diaper is an All in One (AIO)! That means there are no pockets to stuff. You simply wash it, hang to dry and use it, and do it all over again once its soiled! AIO's have to be the most easiest diapers to use! I LOVE this diaper!
Even after I washed it, it was still so soft and fluffy, just like it was brand new!!
Like I just said, this is not a one size diaper. This diaper comes in 3 sizes, small (6-14 lbs.), medium (12-22 lbs.), and large (18-38 lbs.)! My little guy is 2 years old and approximately 28 lbs.

The perfect fit! As you can see this diaper is on the second to last smallest setting and is made to fit baby up to 38 lbs. There is loads of room for growth!

No leg gaps!

We love this diaper. I've used it on him at nap time with no issues, and even over night with NO LEAKS. I know, I put my fitteds and wool covers on hold for a night and really tested this diaper out. These diapers also come in a wide variety of gorgeous colors!

Sweet Cheeks Mommy & Baby Boutique is a brick and mortar store that is located in Wichita Kansas! I came across Sweet Cheeks when I was searching online for AMP diapers. As it turns out, Sweet Cheeks is a new AMP diaper US retailer!

What I really love about the AMP One Size Duo diaper is that it can be used two different ways. It can be used as an AI2 (as seen here):

Here is a bit more information on this fabulous diaper (taken from the AMP website):
"The new AMP one size Duo pocket diaper (patent pending) is a revolutionary new diaper that combines both the benefits of the AI2 diaper and the pocket diaper all in a one size. The intelligent snap placement allows this diaper to have three different rise options and multiple tummy and thigh settings for a custom fit from birth to potty training (7-38lbs). This diaper is AWESOME! It is one of my favorite diapers in my stash right now! I love that it is designed to fit babies from 7-38 lbs and that it's a pocket diaper with the ability to be used as an AI2! This is a very versatile diaper and it is made very well. This diaper has stood up to the rough play of both my boys and I have not had one single leak or blow out (lovin' the hemp insert)! I've even used this diaper (as a pocket) on my son at night and he woke up dry! The fleece lining is so soft and keeps your baby feeling dry!

Now for all you AMP users out there, it is important when using this diaper on a newborn that you make sure to stretch the front panel towards the back to ensure a good fit. This diaper fit my nephew perfectly on the smallest setting! The diaper is so soft and stretchy which ensures a great customized fit! The AMP AI2 size small diapers are designed to fit babies from 6-18 lbs. AMP also has a size large AI2 which is designed to fit a baby from 15-35 lbs. So if AI2's are your choice in diaper, you only need two sizes that will last from birth to potty! There is a great video HERE that details how to use the AMP AI2 diaper! Oh, and did I mention that they also come in an array of beautiful colors?? And, they are made in Canada! <3

I am overall impressed with this diaper. As many of you probably know, when cloth diapering a newborn, their diapers have to be changed quite frequently (every 3 hrs or so)! This is one reason that using an AI2 for newborns is so awesome. When using the AI2 system, only the insert needs to be changed out during diaper changes! There is no need to change the cover as long as it has not been soiled!! The cover usually last between 2-4 diaper changes (assuming you don't have a 'blow-out')!!
The AMP AI2 diaper retails for $15.50 and the hemp inserts cost $5.50 (sold separately). You can easily find an authorized retailer through the AMP website!

AMP Hemp Fitted Diaper review!

Have you heard of AMP diapers? AMP diapers are made in Canada and I had never had the chance to try one until recently. AMP graciously sent me their hemp fitted diaper, I chose size large.
This is what I received:

Here is a bit of information about this diaper (taken from the AMP website):
AMP Hemp fitted diapers are made of two body layers of hemp fleece (55% hemp/45% cotton) plus an additional layer of internal soaker making three layers of absorbency in the diaper body. An extra three-layer hemp fleece doubler is included with each diaper. A two-part diapering system drastically reduces drying times! Soft stretchy elastic gathers at the legs and the back for a great leak-proof fit! Hemp fleece is a nice stretchy fabric that will gently hug your baby. It’s a fantastic fabric for diapers as it’s very absorbent and durable, plus it has antimicrobial properties. High quality resin snaps for ease of use and durability. AMP hemp fitted diapers are very trim fitting and absorbent! Available in two sizes for a great fit from birth to potty learning. Hemp grows with much less need for water and pesticides which means it's not only better for baby but better for the environment as well! Hemp is also much more durable than cotton which means if you're planning on diapering more than one baby hemp is a great choice! All our hemp products are made of pre-washed hemp fleece to minimize shrinkage on finished products.

Small fits approx 8 - 15lbs
Large fits approx 15 - 35lbs

I used this diaper on my 3 yo son. He is a very HEAVY wetter at night. Though we are potty training, he is still not wearing underwear at night time.
This diaper worked great. I love that its made of hemp!
The size large fits approximately 15-35 lbs. My 3 yo is 33 lbs and as you can see from the picture below, it fit him just right! (He is really close to the max weight for this diaper).

This is the same diaper on my 17 month old:

The hemp fleece doubler that comes with the diaper is unlike any I have ever used before. All of the other hemp fitteds I have tried have doublers that snap in. At first I thought this was a bit strange, that the doubler didn't snap to the diaper, but it worked just fine and was nice not to have to unsnap the urine soaked doubler from the diaper when it was time to wash it!

I would really recommend this diaper to those of you with heavy wetters at night. I find that fitted diapers (hemp are my favorite) paired with a wool cover is the only thing that has worked for us for night time!
