"Newborns AND Cloth" Bumgenius XS AIO #CLOTHDIAPER review and #GIVEAWAY {Wee Willie Winks}

Wee Willie Winks is a great little shop that has really been showing the love to me and my blog :)
Recently Wee Willie Winks sponsored a review of the Baby Bottoms Diversity doll, along with a $25.00 GC giveaway! They also wanted in on the "Newborns AND Cloth" event and so graciously sent me a Bumgenius xs AIO diaper to try on Ezra!
This is what I received:
The inside of the diaper:

Many of you know that I am not a huge fan of hook and loop or Velcro for many reasons. First, I just love my snaps. I don't like how quickly the hook and loop/Velcro tabs get used and frayed and need to be replaced. That said, I must say that I was fairly impressed with this diaper. It fit Ezra very well. It is so easy to get a nice snug fit with hook and look/Velcro on such a tiny baby!
Here's the proof:
Such a cute, calm baby! See the snug fit around his little tiny legs!

Here is the view from the back.... look at his little neck rolls! *SWOON*

The BG xs AIO's are a very good option for cloth diapering your newborn baby. Since they are an AIO there is no stuffing involved! You simply use, wash, repeat. That being said you also need to take into consideration that the AIO diapers need a bit more drying time vs. a pocket style diaper. Pocket diapers can be line dried and the inserts thrown into the dryer.... but AIO's take a longer time to dry when line dried!

Here is a bit more information on the BG xs AIO *the following information taken from Wee Willie Winks Website*
Features
An all-in-one is a cloth diaper with the absorbent layer integrated into the waterproof outer layer. It goes on in one step.
No stuffing, no diaper cover and no folding means that this is the easiest-to-use and quite possibly, the most convenient newborn diaper you can buy.
These fantastic all-in-one diapers are made with an outer fabric that is safe to wash in hot water.
The closures are hook & loop, just like disposable diapers.
The inner-core is ultra-absorbent.
The lining fabric keeps your baby's bottom dry.
The tabs have that stretch that you love in deluxe disposable diapers.
The ultra-gentle leg elastic will keep the messes in!
The details
Stretchy tabs, hook & loop closures and ultra-gentle leg/back casings guarantee a great fit every time. The soakers are made of our exclusive Cotton Babies microfiber terry. This ensures that your diaper isn't just super-absorbent, it also dries quickly. Just like our pockets, the suedecloth lining keeps your baby's bottom dry and free of irritation caused by wetness and ultra-gentle elastic won't leave red marks.
Sizing
bumGenius Newborn cloth diapers fit from 6-12 pounds. They are intended for a newborn and fit low, below the navel, to keep the umbilical area dry. This diaper is designed to fit during that itty-bitty newborn stage.

This diaper is very reasonably priced as well. You can but it directly from Wee Willie Winks for $12.95!
As a sponsor of the Newborns AND Cloth event, Wee Willie Winks graciously offered one LWML follower a chance to win a BG xs AIO cloth diaper in 'butternut'

Baby Bottoms Diversity Doll Review and $25.00 GC GIVEAWAY to Wee Willie Winks! {7 Nov}

Have you ever heard of a "Diversity Doll?" Neither had I, until I was contacted by Wee Willie Winks and asked to review one! Here is some information about the Baby Bottoms diversity doll taken from the Wee Willie Winks Website:

Diversity Dolls Information
Baby Bottoms Dolls are available in four races: African American, Asian, Caucasian, and Hispanic. They are anatomically correct and also have a belly button. The Baby (without Potty) NOW only comes in the following race/sex combos: African American Boy, Asian Girl, Caucasian Girl, and Hispanic Boy. The Caucasian Boys that are listed are only while supplies last.

Dolls come dressed in removable clothing, including a cloth diaper. Toddler dolls come with their own Baby Bjorn-style potty and make great friends during potty learning!

Diversity Dolls Construction
Materials: Baby Bottoms dolls are made with all new materials and polyester stuffing.

Manufacturing: Diversity Dolls are made in China.

Sizing & Clothing: Baby Bottoms Babies are 12.5” tall and come with a front-closing shirt and cap (boys) or bonnet (girls). Baby Bottoms Toddlers are 14” tall, have hair and come with a long sleeved t-shirt and a Baby Bjorn-style potty. All dolls come with a cloth diaper. Cloth diapers secure with Velcro tabs at the hips.

I was sent a Baby Bottoms Toddler Caucasian Male doll for review! This is what I received:
*please excuse the photo quality! My mom does not have any photo editing software on her computer*

This doll is great. It is a perfect teaching tool to use for potty training your littles! My eldest son is *almost* completely potty trained! He wears underwear 100% of the time has little to no accidents, stays dry all night long, BUT refuses to poo on the potty!
My 22 month old son is very interested in the potty and has watched his big brother pee on the potty several times. My 22 mo has tried a few times to go on the potty, but with no success *yet*

I was at my sister's house in Oregon and had the doll mailed to her. She (as you all know) just had a little boy 30 September, and also has a 2 yo son as well! So the boys really got a kick out of playing with the doll!
(Above is a picture of Grandma "Grammy" demonstrating to my nephew how the doll goes on the potty!

Yes, these dolls are anatomically correct! Which does not bother me at all! I've taught my boys' the names of all their body parts. They know what eyes are, feet, hands, belly, and yes, penis and butt too! We don't use silly nicknames for their private parts, but call it like it is!
The doll even has a small brown spot on it's 'butt'
You can purchase this doll at Wee Willie Winks for $34.95! But wait, order now through 15 Nov and use the code "LITTLES" to receive 15% off the purchase of your doll. They also have the baby doll for $21.50! These would make perfect Christmas presents for your little one, and I think they are awesome to have if you are potty training!
Wee Willie Winks has generously offered one LWML follower a $25.00 GC to be used on anything on their Website!
