I recently contacted All About Baby Boutique regarding reusable feminine pads. Now, before you stop reading, and click to another review, let me tell you that if you have not jumped on the band-wagon of reusable feminine pads, then might I say, you are living in the dark ages! :) These pads are so awesome and they are so much better for you when compared to commercial tampons or pads (which contain harmful chemicals such as dioxins which are a known carcinogen)! Who wants to put stuff like that next to their crown jewels? Not me!!

That is surely something you did not want to talk about with your girlfriends or others. Times have changed. The truth is periods are periods and they arrive as expected most of the time. We live in a modern age and the majority of us wear tampons and different types of chemicals loaded pads. Not so long ago toxic shock syndrome scared us all!

Now, I asked for the super Charlie Banana pads because I tend to have a heavy flow the first few days of my cycle! I used these pads and I cannot tell you how much I LOVE them!
I love that they are all-in-one pads (there is no having to stack liners to increase absorbency) and there is no unstuffing, which means that you don't have touch a bloody pad on wash day. Oh, that's another thing.... wash day! Well, I keep all my soiled pads in a wet bag until wash day, unless I wash mid-cycle! Then I dump all the pads into the washing machine, fill the washing machine with cold water and let them soak for about an hour (I've even forgotten about them and left them overnight)! Then I rinse the cold water out, then run a hot wash cycle with some Rockin Green Femme Rock! These pads came out soft, fluffy and totally clean! You would think that something that has been soaked in blood would be prone to stains, but so far, I've used these twice and I have had no problems with stains!
