#NBFluffNStuff Eco Sprout laundry detergent review and #GIVEAWAY #CLOTHDIAPERS {US only}

When you are cloth diapering a newborn, you wash more diapers than you would an older baby. Simply because a newborn uses more diaper. I change Allie every 2 hours or so (except at night time) and this makes for a lot of fluffy laundry. But I don't mind, I actually ENJOY fluffy laundry. I was really excited to try Eco Sprout detergent on my newborn fluff. I've been a die hard Rockin Green soap user for the last 3 years but felt I wanted to change things up. It seems that with Rockin Green soap, you either love it, or hate it. So I wanted to explore my options and came across Eco Sprout.
I was thrilled when Eco Sprout agreed to send me a 24 oz (24/48 load) bag of their detergent to try. I was sent a bag of their 'In the Buff' unscented detergent!

The instructions for first time users is very similar to that of Rockin Green.
1. Fill bathtub, washing machine, or bucket with enough hot water to saturate your diapers.
2. Add 3-4 TBSP of Eco Sprout detergent and stir to dissolve.
3. Toss in your clean cloth diapers and let them soak for 3-4 hours, or overnight if they're really in need of help {which I'm assuming 'in need of help' means really smelly??}
4. Wash 1-2 times in hot water with no detergent.
5. Enjoy stink free diapers again!

After you've done the soak (mentioned above) users are advised to do the following:
1. Pre-wash in warm or cold water.
2. Hot wash/cold rinse with 1-4* TBSP of Eco Sprout detergent.
3. Extra rinse.

There are also detailed washing instructions listed on the Eco Sprout website!

I used Eco Sprout to prep a bunch of my newborn fluff and I must say I was quite impressed! The diapers were very soft and fluffy after being washed and even after using them on Allie and having been pooped in, came out clean and fresh with Eco Sprout.
It's nice to know there is another detergent out there that I can use (besides Rockin Green) that will really work on my diapers and not leave any residue behind!

I've heard people rave about the great scents that are available with Eco Sprout detergent.
I'm a bit bummed that I was sent the unscented version to try, as I would have loved to smell something pleasant while washing!

I'm so enjoying trying all these newborn diapers on my little girl! She's only just over 3 weeks old now and I LOVE 'dressing her up' in all this beautiful fluff! I'm really getting to find out what newborn diapers I really like to use, which ones work well and which ones are my absolute favorite!!

 I'm a HUGE fan of the umbilical snap down to protect baby's cord! My little girl's cord didn't fall of for a few days and I was always so mindful of it when changing her diapers!

 The inside of this diaper is made of 11 layers of cotton birdseye fabric! Perfectly absorbent!

 Half of the birdseye cotton soaker pad is attached at the top, allowing the other half to agitate out in the wash!

"A unique all-in-one diaper design that combines the convenience of an all-in-one diaper while providing the absorbency adjustability of a pocket diaper.

It is made with a waterproof outer layer and 11 layers of 100% cotton birdseye fabric in the wet zone.

This is one of the diapers I reach for most often! It is very absorbent and I find myself using it at night (since Allie has been sleeping 5+ hours at night since 3 weeks old)!! It fits her great!

I was so excited to hear that the makers of AMP diapers were coming out with a brand new brand of diaper! Though totally seperate from AMP diapers, the quality of Peachy Baby cloth diapers are as amazing as those of AMP!

Peachy Baby diapers are a brand new line of cloth diapers! These diapers are a one size diaper, designed to fit babies from 6-40 lbs!

I was sent a Peachy Baby one size diaper set in lemon for my review. The sets come with two inserts, a size large and a size small, which are made of 70% rayon derived from bamboo and 30% organic cotton! This is what I received:

 

To use, you simply lay the insert on top of the inside of the diaper. You can customize the level of absorption simply buy folding the insert where you need more protection.

I do have to say that this cover, or shell as some call it is made very well. It has a sort of strong feeling to it! What does that mean? Well, when you touch it, you can tell that the laminated polyester is a very high quality. You can just feel it with your finger tips! I've held a bunch of different kinds of diapers in my 4 and a half years of using cloth and I must say that the quality of the waterproofness of this diaper is by far one of the best I've used!
This is a one sized diaper and is made to fit babies from 6-40 lbs!

This is a great new diaper and I highly recommend it to any cloth diapering mamas out there!
It fits my tiny 7 lb-ish baby girl perfectly!! She was only 6.8 lbs at birth and I put it on her when she was just over 7 lbs!

 This really is a trim fitting diaper. I love the softness of the bamboo velour and love how well it fit my little girl at just over 7 lbs!

 No leg gaps and no leaks!! I'm telling you, if you have not tried hemp (or natural fiber diapers) before, you are really missing out. In fact for both my boys, at night I used to use Babykicks hemp fitted diapers with a wool cover! They are great for over night!

 



The Babykicks reusable nursing pads that I received are awesome! Every nursing mama needs a pair! They are 4.5" in diameter and are made of 5 layers of hemp jersey!
I'd recommend putting both of these items on your 'to buy' list!

This diaper is perfect for a newborn! We did not experience any leaks or other fit issues.
I love that it's a pocket and though it's sized for a newborn, there is plenty of room in the diaper for you to get your hand in there to stuff it.

I LOVE the fit of this diaper!!

I love that you can be creative with this diaper. You can stuff it with the two inserts it comes with, or you can stuff it with hemp, bamboo, anything really!
Great for babies that are sleeping through the night, to pair this diaper with a small sized hemp insert!
