Simple Blessings N Life {Etsy} Review and #GIVEAWAY {US only} Things for my new home!

Okay so if you've been reading my blog for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE Etsy finds! You also know that we recently relocated (thanks to Uncle Sam) to Tennessee! Despite my love for cloth diapers, eco-friendly and green things, and Etsy, I also have a little thing for door wreaths!
This is a picture of one I made just before my husband came home the last time he was deployed:
Before we left Maryland however I found myself perusing Etsy looking for something that would give our new home a bit of character! Then I came across Simple Blessings N Life! LOVE this shop!
Laura is the artist behind SBNL and she has so many awesome and unique items! Take a look:

And one of my favorites:
Then she has these really adorable wreaths:
LOVE this! I contacted Laura and asked her if she would be willing to send me one of those wreaths at a discount in exchange for my review, she said yes (I'm so glad and thankful that she did)!
This is what she sent me:
In order to keep the H (which is upside down for some reason in this picture) and the wreath from being damaged during shipping, Laura sent them to me disconnected. It was so easy though to put together. I just tied the twine that was attached to the H to the wreath and....
Don't you LOVE it? We sure do! Even my husband commented on how good it looks! I think too that it really gives our home some definite character. This is not at all like the store-bought wreaths that you can buy at Hobby Lobby or Michaels! This is a one-of a kind, hand crafted wreath that (unless you buy one from Laura) you won't find anywhere else!

Love it? Great!! Laura has generously offered one LWML follower the chance to win a $25 GC to be used towards the purchase of anything in her shop!

"Birthday Blessings Bash" Turtle Soup Company {Lil' Woolie Snapper™ Review} $25 GC #GIVEAWAY {US and Canada}

I'm really falling in love with Etsy! I mean, really! I've found some very adorable things on Etsy that I would just love to buy! One of these such things was the Lil' Woolie Snapper™ from Turtle Soup Company! Since we only use fitteds and wool covers at night time now I thought it would be a perfect time to reach out for Turtle Soup's sponsorship! Cortney (the shop owner) graciously sent me a Lil' Woolie Snapper™ in size medium for me to try! This is what I received:

Here is a bit more information about the Lil' Woolie Snapper™. (taken from Turtle Soup Company's Etsy site):
"Turtle Soup's Lil' Woolie Snapper™ is the best choice for covering your cloth diapers. Let's face it, wool is impressive. It has this wondrous ability to hold nearly 40% of its weight in fluid without feeling wet & allows moisture to evaporate. Not only does wool allow air to circulate through its fibers, but its natural antibacterial properties make it a perfect fiber for diapering.

Choose from non-itchy wools such as Merino, Cashmere, Angora & soft Lambswool. They are bound with bright fold over elastic & close with poly resin snaps for a secure comfy fit. Use winter, or summer and up to seven days if not soiled. Wool fibers provide a nice drier barrier for baby day, or night because wool breathes better. Wool by nature and contains natural oils that can be reintroduced when using a lanolin wash. Laundering is a cinch; hand washed, or by machine in a gentle [low agitated] cycle with a wool wash such as Eucalan®. Hang to dry or lay flat. Size small and medium/large."

The Lil' Woolie Snapper™ is great. It is so soft and so cute! We really like it!
This is how the Lil' Woolie Snapper™ fits my 2 yo over a Babykicks organic fitted diaper:

It's great for night time wear and keeps him high and dry!
The Turtle Soup Company (or Turtle Soup Kids as they are known as on Etsy) not only offer the Lil' Woolie Snapper™ but they also offer these adorable items:

as a sponsor of the Birthday Blessings Bash event, Turtle Soup Company has generously offered one LWML follower the chance to win a $25 GC to be used towards the purchase of anything in their Etsy shop! They are also offering a very generous discount of $3.00 off EACH item in your cart when you mention the code "LIFEWITHMYLITTLES3" In order to take advantage of these savings you will need to contact Cortney either through her Etsy shop, or Facebook.

Baby Carrier {Ergo} Sucking Pads review and Etsy #GIVEAWAY!!

I've been browsing Etsy for some time now. I simply love that you can find such intricate and unusual items on Etsy that are home made by stay at home moms (SAHM)! One day awhile back I came across RedCharlotte! The shop caught my eye because she had listed a pair of 'sucking pads' for baby carriers. You see, ever since I started wearing my second baby in my Ergo Carrier, he has been chewing and sucking on the straps! Great for him, to relieve his teething, but not so great for my poor Ergo!! So what the sucking pads do, is protect your baby carrier from the infamous teething baby! They simply wrap around your baby carrier straps and your carrier is protected. Not only do they work to protect your carrier's straps, but they also (upon request) can come with cute taggies attached on each end for baby to play with (as seen below). Charlotte graciously sent me a pair of organic sucking pads for review... this is what I received:

I really love these sucking pads. First of all, they are so stinkin' cute. You can view the current fabric selections for sucking pads on RedCharlottes Etsy page.
Here is a bit more information about the sucking pads:
Red Charlotte Sucking Pads (as described by Charlotte herself)
- My taggie sucking pads are my original design.
- I started making them because I couldn’t find any cute, functional options on the market.
- I’m a work-from-home-mom to a 12 month old girl who LOVES her own pair of sucking pads.
- Each pad includes three layers of fabric; the top layer is designer fabric, with two additional layers of super absorbent, white flannel.
- A wide range of designer fabric selections, including organic options, available in the shop.
- The pads are reversible! (Designer fabric on one side, white flannel on the other.)
- You can buy them with taggies on one side or both sides. My daughter occupies herself for hours playing with the top taggies now that she can reach them.
- They fit all the major baby carriers including the Ergo, the Mei Tai, the BabyHawk, the Beco, the Boba, the Kinderpack, the Bamberoo, the Baby Bjorn, the Pikkolo, and the Patapum.
- I have a YouTube video that also explains how awesome they are.

Here are the sucking pads on my beloved Ergo carrier:

This is my 19 month old in the Ergo. I usually wear him on my back, but this was a quick photo shoot.... just for the purpose of this review! *as you can see, he does not mind being worn on my front :)
RedCharlotte not only makes sucking pads for baby carriers (Ergo, Mei Tai, Beco, Boba, BabyHawk and More - Songbird) but she also makes and sells burp cloths, bibs, taggie blankets, and Baby Carrier Stuff Sacks!

What is a baby carrier stuff sack you ask? I am glad you did. Here is a brief description of the stuff sack: (as described by Charlotte herself)
Red Charlotte Stuff Sacks
- My baby carrier Stuff Sacks are my original design.
- I was inspired to make them when I couldn’t find a neat way to store my Ergo on our sailboat.
- The Stuff Sack fits all the major baby carriers including the Ergo, the Mei Tai, the BabyHawk, the Beco, the Boba, the Kinderpack, the Baby Bjorn, the Pikkolo, and the Patapum.
- It’s also a great way to store slings and wraps that are long and cumbersome.
- You can use the Stuff Sack as a bolster for babies who are learning how to sit or as a pillow when your little one needs a place to lay their head at the park or the beach.
- My Stuff Sacks are made with designer fabric and come with a coordinating carry-handle on the bottom, a high-quality barrel clasp, and heavy duty shock cord to handle frequent, daily use.
- I have a YouTube video that also explains how awesome they are.

All About Baby *and Mama too* Blog Bash Sponsor Spotlight: Brynn's Beautiful Bows!

Since discovering all the wonderfully talented crafters on Etsy, I have really been looking around and have discovered quite a few artists. Recently while looking into reusable feminine pads and un-paper towels, I came across Brynn's Beautiful Bows (aka Brynn's Boutique)!
I was sent a wet bag for review. This is what I received:
This is a close up of the snap (love this feature):
The opened wet bag:
This wet bag is perfect for putting in your diaper bag and using when you are out and about. It will hold 2 *maybe 3* soiled diapers. I also think this would be a great item for a young girl to take to the pool to store her wet swimsuit. The color I received is purple, which is great, because that is my favorite color, and I am going to use it this summer for my suit when I go to the pool (which has been a lot lately because its been in the upper 90's here already)!
This wet bag was made very well and the quality is excellent.
But Brynn's Beautiful Bows not only offers wet bags!
Take a look at a few of the other items up for sale in her Etsy shop:
Hello.... I need want a little girl!! ($10)
(cloth wipes $6.00)
Wet bag ($10.00)
Ooga Booga knit skirt ($19.99) Did I mention to you that her site makes me really want a girl??
Mama cloth ($7.00)
Un-paper towels set of 10 ($15.00) If I were entering this giveaway, and I won, I would HAVE TO buy these!!!
