Giveaways and Home birth fundraiser auction AND gain 5 extra entries into the #THANKFUL4FLUFF Bumgenius giveaway #CLOTHDIAPERS!!

On Monday (5 November) the Facebook auction will begin. What is the Facebook auction you ask??
Well, I am planning a home birth (due April, 2013)! We are going to have to pay $3000 out of pocket for this, and this is something that I really want to do! You can read more about the circumstances surrounding the home birth here!

The Facebook auction will begin on Monday, and will run until Tuesday 13 November at 10 pm EST. To enter, you MUST read the rules under the 'open' sign picture (that will be posted on Sunday night) and comment with 'agree' under that pic! This lets me know that you have read and are agreeing to the auction rules (which will be listed under that same sign)!

Each item specifies if it's open to US and Canada or US only. There may be shipping fees associated with the item up for bid. This is the case in items that I am personally auctioning off for the fundraiser. If the item is sponsored, you will be required to 'like' the sponsor on Facebook prior to bidding on their item (again, if this is the case, instructions will be listed under that specific item, to include the link to the FB page to be liked)!

If you feel so compelled in your heart to give financially to help me meet my goal of having a home birth. Please send your monetary donation via paypal (as a gift) to familytreasures911@hotmail.com (this is mostly set up for family members and friends that don't cloth diaper, but want to provide their support)! Please put 'home birth' in the comments section when sending payment via paypal!
All monies earned from this Facebook auction will go to pay the midwife the $3000 for her services provided to me before, during and postpartum!

If you have not take the time yet to enter my current giveaway for a Bumgenius 4.0 one size cloth diaper in Clementine, feel free to do so here (open to US only)!

If you are entered into that giveaway, be sure to come back to the blog to earn 5 extra entries into the BG giveaway! Those 5 entries can only be claimed on Monday, November 5th from 12:01 am to midnight (EST) so be sure to get your entries in and claimed on the Rafflecopter form!

There is also a giveaway going on right now for a bunch of awesome, eco-friendly Seventh Generation cleaning products {US only}!

Oh, and don't forget about the upcoming Newborn event which will take place in the new year. I've got over 25 confirmed sponsors for this blog alone. I'm going to be opening this up to a blog-hop. So if you are a blogger and are interested in participating, feel free to shoot me an e-mail (angela_heffner at yahoo dot com)! It's going to be huge, and fun!!!

I hope you all are having a great weekend!
Looking forward to the auction!

  1. Good luck with your auction! I'm planning a homebirth for March 2013 but we're also paying for it out-of-pocket - we're living in BC but have Alberta healthcare, and Alberta won't cover midwives in BC (though they cover doctors in BC).

    1. Bonnie,
Isn't it crazy how only some midwives are covered? In my case, my insurance will cover only Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM's) and here in Tennessee there are only Certified Professional Midwives that will do home births! This may well be our last baby and I want this experience more than anything!
Good luck to you and congrats on your pregnancy! :)

  2. Good luck with your homebirth! I had my 3rd and likely last baby at home last March and the experience was worth every out-of-pocket penny! :)

  5. I've been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It's pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as
you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
