I've got some exciting news!
Our baby girl was born this last Sunday at 3:29 am after only 3 hours of labor. She was born here at home, in the water! It was an awesome experience.
She was a surprise gender birth (as you can tell from the picture, this is when we found out she was a girl)! I am on my 'baby moon' and am very carefully trying out a bunch of newborn cloth diapers and other items (used a Mei Tai today (sent to me from Snuggy Baby) for the first time and I LOVE it), better yet, so does my little girl. She was the smallest of all my babies weighing in at only 6 lbs 8 oz!
She is nursing like a champ and I am enjoying every single minute of it!
I've still not decided on a date to start the newborn event, as I need a good ample amount of time to try out all these awesome products!
Keep an eye on my FB page for the official announcement!
There are a lot of prizes to be won, and you are not going to want to miss this!!
For the Diono Radian RXT giveaway that just ended, we are still working on verifying the winner. The first winner picked did not complete the winning entry and so we are going to have to draw another! Your patience is appreciated!

Congratulations!!! Such an awesome birth! Go, Mama!
ReplyDeletePRICELESS photo. Oh my goodness. Priceless!
ReplyDeleteI had a home birth this past July, and it was amazing. Nothing like it. But since I know how painful it is, let me say, WELL DONE, MOMMA!
How many other little ones do you have? I'm assuming all boys? :)
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
oh, hello. I could have just read your info on the right side of the page. Two little boys, how awesome.
ReplyDeleteTell me honestly. We have two little girls and I have debated back and forth about finding out the gender for our next baby. I can't decide! Did you feel like you didn't really bond with the baby until it got here because it was just "BABY" for 9 months instead of knowing "my sweet boy/girl" ? Seems so impersonal for the pregnancy but then I'm sure amazing in that moment when you give birth and meet for the first time.
Congrats! I so happy that all went well and I love the photos! We are planning on doing a home birth for our 1st so I am looking forward to hearing more about the birth!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! I adore the pictures and am a little jealous! Only three hours of labour?! Have a fabulous babymoon :D
