"Newborns AND Cloth" Redemption Soap Review and $10.00 GC #GIVEAWAY
While browsing the Little Bee Co. website looking at all their adorable cloth diapers the other month, I came across Redemption Soap. You see, I so LOVE the mission of The Little Bee Co. that when I saw "Redemption Soap" I knew this was a company that I needed to check out! Redemption soap is "Laundry wash on a mission" so what is their mission?
*the following information taken from the Redemption Soap Website*
For each bag purchased, $1 goes directly to Dare2Serve, an organization in Zimbabwe, Africa that is loving on the "forgotten people" in their country. Along with providing for basic needs, serving with acts of love, they are unashamed of the Gospel.
AWESOME!!! Another company worth supporting (in my opinion)!
So what exactly is Redemption Soap?
Redemption soap is an all-natural laundry wash, and the new formula is now SOAP FREE and is perfect for sensitive skin and washing cloth diapers. It is also *Vegan *Unscented *Dye-Free *All Natural *HE safe *Cloth diaper safe!
Ingredients: pure sodium percarbonate, sodium borate, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate.
Made by a cloth diapering, earth crunchy Mom in our smoke free/ pet free home.
I was sent a bag of the new soap-free formula for review (and two samples of the old formula as well)! This is what I received:
I was a bit sceptical of this laundry detergent because when I used it for the first time, I washed dark colored clothes on warm, and there were no bubbles! See:
Here is a picture of the clothes after a brief (30 minute) soak in Redemption soap:
The water actually got pretty murky! So I wondered how a detergent that was non-foaming would clean clothes...
Well, it worked like a charm! My clothes came out clean and unscented! I can't stand commercial laundry detergent that are so choc-full of 'fragrances' that it makes your eyes burn!
I also used this detergent on my cloth diapers and it works great! It is cloth diaper safe and leaves no residue behind and will not harm your diapers, only get them clean!!
You can purchase a 40-load bag of Redemption soap on Etsy for $9.25! Each load takes 1-2 Tablespoons, making the cost of this laundry soap only 23 cents a load (if you use one tablespoon)! Very economical!
As a sponsor of the Newborns AND Cloth event, Karissa has graciously offered one LWML follower a chance to win a $10.00 GC to be used towards anything in her Etsy shop!
To enter, simply use the rafflecopter form below, you may have to click on "read more" to see the rafflecopter entry form!
Good Luck and have fun!
