*CLOSED*Rockin Green Review and Giveaway!

I am a cloth diapering Mama with 2 boys in diapers, so when I was given the chance to try our Rockin’ Green Laundry detergent, I was really excited. I had heard some really awesome things about Rockin’ Green, and some even claimed it worked miracles!
Rockin' Green detergent comes in three formulas; soft, classic and hard rock. It also comes in a variety of scents:

•Orangevana - orange and cream combine together to reach a new level of cleaning awareness

•Smashing Watermelons- this juicy watermelon blend is like a kick to your senses.

•The Green Tea's - the zen like blend of green tea and aloe, is sure to make it to the top of your playlist.

•Rage against the Raspberry- this raspberry and honey blend will have you running around the laundry room looking for the mosh pit!

•Mötley Cleän - there's clean and then there's Mötley Cleän. This fresh blend has hints of ocean, fresh linen, and sunshine.

•Lavender Mint Revival- this medley of lavender and mint is like nothing you have heard or smelled before!

•Bare Naked Babies- because we love the smell of babies, we offer an unscented variety too!

I received 3 sample packets of Rockin’ Green in the mail in classic rock formula, 2 The Plain Green Tea’s and one Lavender Mint Revival scents. Each packet was enough for 2 loads of laundry, since I have a top loading machine. You can read about the differences in machines and use of detergent HERE. How did I know which formula you ask? There is a handy little map on the Rockin' Green website that will help you determine which formula will work best for you! There is also a lot of really helpful information on thier FAQ page!

Since this detergent had received such raving reviews I wanted to really put this detergent to the test. So I searched the house and found the most dirty thing I could find. This was not hard, since I had just received a Jumperoo from Freecycle the day before, which was absolutley filthy! So I decided to Rock a Soak! Have I lost you? Are you sitting there scratching your head and wondering what the heck “Rock a Soak” means? Well, since you asked ;) HERE is a great video that tells you exactly that! Impressed? I was! So here is what the Jumperoo looked like when I first placed it into the bucket of hot water with the Rockin’ green…

Can you see the difference? I know, right, I was amazed too!
Oh, and the detergent, it smelled so good! I am not one for overly powerful smells, but these detergents smelled awesome, and they are not some artificial fragrance, but instead are all-natural. More info on the ingredients can be found HERE. I was a bit worried though that my diapers would come out smelling like a lavender field, but they didn’t. That is one reason I washed the Jumperoo cover first, in case there was a strong remaining smell, I didn’t want my precious cloth diapers to be damaged, or overly smelly! After using Rockin’ Green, the only smell left behind was the smell of clean!

After using it on the Jumperoo, I washed a load of Fuzzi Bunz. I did not rock the soak, but just washed them normally (as my diapers were not stained, and did not have any residual build up). My diapers came out smelling so clean and fresh! I hung them to dry, and when they were dry, they felt as soft as they did when I first bought them!

I am thoroughly impressed with Rockin' Green detergent! In fact, I will go so far as to state I LOVE Rockin’ Green!
